Memories of Jason Massey
I love and miss him very much!
Jason Seth Massey, 28, of Amarillo died Monday, June 13, 2011.
Jason was born Sept. 23, 1982, to Bylie and Bobby Massey. He grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School. He loved fishing, football and his animals.
Along his journey, he made some lifelong friends who would say, "He is more than a friend, he was our brother."
Thank you to those young men and women who inspired and touched Jason's life in so many ways.
May your spirit soar in freedom from the fears that gripped so tight. May you find the peace you searched for as you wandered, lost, in the night. I'll wear your memory proudly, my brother ... my true friend. May my love for you reach heaven above until we meet again.
Survivors include his dog, Maddie; his father, Bobby Massey of Amarillo; his mother, Bylie Dewey and husband David of Amarillo; two brothers, Justin Massey and wife Machelle and Brandon Massey and wife Chas, all of Amarillo. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family who loved him very much.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite animal charity; or Hope & Healing Place, 1721 S. Tyler St., Amarillo, TX 79102.
